ModyPixl uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can manage your preferences.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences over time. Other similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixels.

Two things cookies are never used for on ModyPixl: we do not use them to build advertising or interest profiles of our own, and nothing you create — your uploads, prompts, or generated results — is ever attached to a cookie, sold, or shared with an advertiser. Required for the site to work at all. These keep you signed in (our sign-in is handled by Firebase Auth, which stores your session token in your browser), protect requests against tampering and replay, and let our edge layer route and rate-limit traffic. They are never used for advertising or profiling, and the site cannot function without them, so they cannot be switched off.

We do not currently run any third-party analytics or tracking script on this website — no Google Analytics, no product-analytics SDK, no tracking pixels. If we add one, it will appear here first, be limited to anonymised and aggregated usage metrics, and be set only with your consent where consent is required.

Ads are served by Google AdSense, and only on free marketing surfaces — the home page, template browsing and detail pages, and the features / tools pages. We never place ads in the generate flow, in the editor, on the pricing or checkout pages, on My Generations, or on sign-in and sign-up. When ads are running, Google and its advertising partners may set advertising cookies and read device advertising identifiers to serve and measure them, for logged-in and logged-out visitors alike; the ModyPixl mobile apps use Google AdMob the same way, including optional rewarded ads you choose to watch. Consent for advertising is gathered through Google’s certified consent platform, which presents a consent choice where required (GDPR / UK GDPR, India DPDP Act 2023); in the mobile apps you can revisit these choices any time under Settings → Ad Privacy Options. Paid surfaces show no third-party advertising.

How to manage cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Each browser handles this differently:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Edge: Settings → Site Permissions → Cookies

Disabling essential cookies may prevent the website from functioning correctly. Disabling analytics or advertising cookies will not affect your ability to use ModyPixl.

Where required by law (GDPR in the EU/UK, India's DPDP Act 2023, and similar regimes), analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you give consent via the consent prompt shown in your region. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the privacy settings on our website and apps.

Third-party cookies

The only third parties whose storage you may encounter on this site are the infrastructure providers we need to run it: Google Firebase (sign-in session), Cloudflare (edge routing and bot protection), the payment provider shown at checkout when you buy a plan or top-up, and Google AdSense on the free marketing surfaces described above. On those ad surfaces, Google and its advertising partners may set advertising cookies and use device advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads (Google AdMob does the equivalent in the mobile apps). These are governed by their respective privacy policies. You can opt out of Google advertising cookies at adssettings.google.com.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy. Material changes will be communicated via a banner on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
