Yes — the editor and browser tools are free for everyone. AI generation is paid for with credits: each generation shows its exact cost before you confirm, and new accounts include welcome credits. See the pricing page for packs.

Yes — the web app at modypixl.com/app works on any desktop browser. The mobile app (iOS & Android) provides additional features like in-app capture and the Body & Face Editor.

Your designs auto-save as .modypixl project files. Tap the save icon in the editor at any time. Projects can be reopened from the Recent Projects section on the Create Design tab.

The camera is intentionally not in the tab bar to prevent background hardware initialisation when you open the app. Tap the Camera button on the Home screen to launch it.

You can capture photos and video right inside the app and send them straight into your edits and projects — no switching between apps.

In the canvas editor, tap the "+" icon in the layers panel to add an image layer. You can add multiple images, reorder them by dragging, and resize or rotate each independently.

Select a layer and open the Filters panel. Filters preview instantly as you adjust them, and are applied at full quality when you export.

Yes — tap the undo button in the toolbar or use two-finger swipe left. ModyPixl maintains a 30-step undo history.

Canvas designs export as JPEG or PNG at full resolution. 4K export is available on higher plans, and free-account exports carry a watermark. Video projects export as MP4 from the video editor.

AI Templates and Background Removal require an internet connection — they process on our servers (Background Removal is included with paid plans). Other AI features — Body Editor, AI Enhance, Object Eraser — work entirely on-device.

The Body Editor works entirely on your device — adjustments like waist slim, leg length, and face slim are applied privately, and no data ever leaves your phone.

Yes. AI Templates support single or dual photo input. Upload your photo, choose a template style (Fantasy Portrait, Anime, etc.), and ModyPixl AI generates the result on our servers.

It depends on your account level — higher plans run more generations side by side. If you start another generation while at your limit, you’ll get a message asking you to wait for the current one to finish.

No. Generation runs on our servers and stays available while you wait — you can keep browsing, and if you close the tab the result still lands in My Generations for you to download.

At the start of each billing cycle. Unused plan credits don’t roll over — one-time top-up pack credits are separate and stay valid for 12 months from purchase.

For a short download window — a few hours, with the time remaining shown on the result in My Generations — and then they are permanently purged from our servers. ModyPixl is not a cloud drive: we keep no archive and cannot recover an expired result, so download anything you want to keep. A successful generation you did not download is not refundable; a generation that failed or never reached you is refunded in credits automatically.

Every account has a daily usage safety cap that protects against runaway usage and stolen accounts. Normal use never hits it — if you think you have, contact contact@modypixl.com.

ModyPixl offers monthly subscription plans. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance and unlocks features according to the plan — see the pricing page for what each includes. You can also buy one-time top-up packs at any time.

AI generation, which runs on our servers. Editing tools — layers, filters, text, crop, export — don’t consume credits; feature availability depends on your plan. The credit cost is shown before you generate.

Yes. Email contact@modypixl.com from the address on the account, tell us what you were trying to do, and we will review it — normally within 2 business days — and reinstate the account if the block was a mistake. Permanent terminations for CSAM or non-consensual intimate imagery are the one exception and are final.

We use them to run the generation you asked for, and nothing else. We never use your content or prompts to train AI models, we never sell them or share them with anyone beyond the infrastructure providers needed to run the service, and face or voice uploads for AI templates are deleted once your generation finishes. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data. Contact contact@modypixl.com if you need assistance.
