Podcast and Explainer Videos with Cartoon Avatars

3 min readUpdated 2026-08-22

The podcast avatar format turns a written script into a finished show: animated hosts, distinct voices for each speaker, and a complete edited clip. What used to need a studio now needs a paragraph of dialogue.

Writing a script that sounds alive

Write the way people actually talk: short turns, questions that get answered, one idea per exchange. Label lines "A:" and "B:" to control who says what. Five to eight exchanges make a tight clip; plain unlabelled text becomes a solo presenter piece.

Where this format shines

Product explainers, social-media knowledge bites, announcements, and faceless channel content. Because the hosts are animated characters, there is no on-camera anxiety, no reshoots, and every episode keeps the same visual identity.
