Text to Video: Writing Prompts That Become Good Footage
Text-to-video creates original footage from nothing but a description — no source photo, no stock clip. It is the tool for scenes that never existed: a neon city in rain, a fox in falling snow, an abstract product backdrop.
Writing a strong prompt
Describe it like a shot from a screenplay: subject, action, setting, camera, light. "A red fox walking through fresh snow in a pine forest, gentle snowfall, slow tracking shot, golden hour light" — every detail is a decision you made instead of leaving to chance.
One scene per generation works best. If your idea has three scenes, generate three clips and cut them together in the editor.
Styles to explore
Style words steer the whole look: anime, watercolour, cyberpunk, film noir. Dedicated style templates are the fastest way to a consistent aesthetic across multiple clips.
